The City of Avondale Estates welcomed the two newest members of the Board of Mayor and Commissioners Monday evening.  Lionel Laratte and Lisa Shortell took the oath of office and were sworn in as the City's newest commissioners. At the evening meeting, the BOMC  also publicly thanked outgoing commissioners Terry Giager and Randy  Beebe for their years of service.  Also included on the agenda was the vote to elect Commissioner Brian  Fisher as the BOMC's new Mayor Pro Tem.
