The City of Avondale Estates wishes the community a wonderful Memorial Day. Memorial Day is an opportunity to reflect on those serving our Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom. On this day, the American flag is to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon. City Hall is closed today, Monday, May 29. Sanitation pickup normally scheduled for Monday will occur tomorrow, Tuesday, May 30, in addition to the regular Tuesday schedule.
