[ARCHIVED] AEPD Hosting Free Family-friendly Event at the Town Green

Avondale Estate Police badge on a sunset background National Night Out Games Food and Family Fun

Join the Avondale Estates Police Department (AEPD) for National Night Out, a free family-friendly event to kick off the start of the new school year. The fun will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Town Green, 64 N. Avondale Rd.

Participate in a night full of games, food and music. 

  • Meet Marvel and DC superheroes including Batman, Black Panther, Superman and Wonder Woman,
  • Challenge officers to a game of corn hole, 
  • Enjoy face painters, magic, hula hoop competitions and the DJ dance floor, 
  • Grab a free slice of pizza from Donatos (one slice per person while supplies last) and cool down from the summer heat with Butter & Cream’s delicious ice cream available for purchase, and 
  • Get an up-close look at AEPD patrol cars and electric vehicles. 

National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
