Special Pickup Requests for Bulk Items

Arrow Waste provides bulk pickup for large household items that don’t fit in regular collection carts. To help ensure safe, efficient pickup and avoid missed collections, residents are encouraged to review which items are accepted and which require alternative disposal. 

Special pickup requests for items that cannot fit within the trash receptacle must be scheduled with Arrow Waste Customer Service at 770-441-3037. 

Pickup Schedule

Bulk pickups occur every Wednesday and must be scheduled by Tuesday at noon. Anything scheduled after that will be picked up the following week. 

Fees

The cost for special pickup is $16.12.

Allowed Bulk Items: 

• Furniture: couches, sofas, loveseats, chairs, recliners 
• Tables, dressers, nightstands, desks 
• Bookshelves and cabinets 
• Bed frames and headboards (no mattresses) 
• Patio furniture 
• Large plastic household items 
• Non-hazardous toys or play equipment 

 Items Not Accepted

• Construction & debris materials
• Hazardous materials
• Items containing Freon (refrigerators, AC units, freezers, etc.)
• Items containing gas (lawn mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.) 
• Gas grills with tanks attached
• Paint, solvents, oils, chemicals
• Automobile batteries
• Fluorescent bulbs
• Mattresses or box springs 
• Toilets, sinks, or bathtubs (plumbing fixtures) 

Helpful Tips

• All items must be placed at the curb.
• If you have multiple smaller items (toys, clothing, books, etc.), please bag them together to help ensure your yard stays tidy
