The Weekend Wind Down concert series returns to the Town Green for its second year starting on Mother's Day. Concerts will occur on the second Sundays of the month. The free series will take a break in the middle of summer and resume in the fall. The events are free to the public and food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Sunday, June 11: 6-9 p.m. A former Ray Charles Raelette and star of the blues musical film We Are Kings,
Rita Graham is a consummate singer’s singer and one of the legendary women of jazz and blues. She'll be joined by a full band.
Sunday, Sept. 10: 5-8 p.m. COT Band, Atlanta's favorite Latin band with a musical fusion of Caribbean Rhythms with elements of funk, pop and Brazilian beats, will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.
Sunday, Oct. 8: 5-8 p.m. Gurufish will bring a high-octane show, fueled by irresistible melodies wrapped around hypnotic, gritty, funky grooves.
Sunday, Nov. 12: 5-8 p.m.
Funk Cake brings the News Orleans brass to Avondale Estates and will keep folks dancing with their pop and groove. It’s all about the HORNS, baby!
Music will begin a hour after the event start time.
The Town Green is located at 64 N. Avondale Rd., Avondale Estates, Georgia 30002. Parking is available on streets in the downtown district unless otherwise marked.
Public parking lots are located off of Lake St. and at City Hall. Please respect the city's businesses and do not park in their parking lots during their business hours.
