The Tree Board consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor and each serve two-year terms.
It is the responsibility of the Tree Board to study, investigate, counsel and advise the City Manager who will administer a written plan for the care of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets, and in other public areas, to include the following:

Tree Care Plan
Such plan will be presented annually to the governing body and upon its acceptance and approval shall constitute the official comprehensive City Tree Plan. The City Tree Board, when requested by the governing body, shall consider, investigate, make findings, report and recommend upon any special matter or question coming within the scope of its work.
