The board consists of five members who are residents of the city and have experience in:

  • Environmental engineering
  • Environmental management
  • Natural resource management
  • Watershed/lake management

Purpose & Duties

The Lake Avondale Advisory Board was created by the Board of Mayor and Commissioners to provide expert advice to the city in preserving the beauty and vitality of Lake Avondale. The board reviews the conditions of the lake and its surrounding areas and makes recommendations to the Board of Mayor and Commissioners for lake improvement projects.
