Latham Home Sanitation picks up City recycling on Wednesdays. Recycling bins must be left at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Please call City Hall at (404) 294-5400 if you experience any problems with this service.
Recycling Bins- Free small recycling bins are available at City Hall.
- Latham Home Sanitation will hand-deliver a 95-gallon recycling cart to you for $68. Call 770-554-0455 to order. You can pay by check when it is delivered or pay by credit card when you place your order.
Recycling Holiday Pick-up
If a holiday falls on a Wednesday, pick-up will be on Thursday. If the holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, pick-up will be on Wednesday.
- All paper products
- All aluminum items
- All glass bottles and jars
- All plastic containers labeled No. 1 through No. 7. Plastics are marked with a number in a triangle, usually on the bottom of the container. Most household plastics fall into this category.
- All plastic bags
- All cardboard items (please flatten all boxes)
Wash items clean to ensure no trace of food waste is on the recyclables. There is no need to separate your recyclables. Secure all items from being blown away.
Items Not Accepted:
- Styrofoam products without a recycling logo
- Any item that had been contaminated with waste
PLEASE BE ALERT TO THE FOLLOWING:
Please use caution when putting junk mail solicitations for pre-approved credit card applications, mortgages, or anything that has your personal identifiable information on it. It is recommended that you shred those types of items before discarding to avoid identity theft.
