The Administrative Department of the City of Avondale Estates is primarily responsible for the overall management of local government operations in the City. The department also serves as the customer service function of the City, providing accurate information pertinent to residents' needs and helping to resolve resident issues.

Oversees all laws in the Avondale Estates Code of Ordinances and acts of the Board of Mayor and Commissioners be enforced and executed.
The Finance Director is responsible for the core financial functions of the City including overall financial management and operations, accounting, reporting, budgeting, payroll, procurement, debt issuance, compliance management, risk management, internal auditing, financial recordkeeping and Human Resources.
City Planner and Community Development Officer
Is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the City Comprehensive Land Use Plan, Downtown Master Plan, and related programs and projects, supporting and advising City staff, Boards and Commissions and external customers on matters related to urban planning opportunities and issues.
Serves as Records Management Officer. Publishes bi-monthly newsletter and serves as website administrator.
Municipal Court Clerk
Maintains all original citations of defendants charged with traffic misdemeanors and local ordinances within the City of Avondale Estates.
