The goal of the Parks and Recreation Department is to deliver prompt, efficient and reliable services, and maintain the infrastructure to support an active community. As members of the community, we all play a role in how that infrastructure is used and how well it works.
In 2016, the Board of Mayor and Commissioners changed the verbiage on the signs at both Willis Parks and Lake Avondale. Then in early 2017, new signs were made reflecting this change.
